Did you know that the representative you meet at the model homes in a new construction development represent the builder? It's good to have someone in your corner that is familiar with the building process and can go to bat for you when needed. Did you also know that you don't have to pay my commission to use me as your agent? That's right! The builder pays my commission. So hiring me is a no-brainer:)
You can expect the typical build process to take between 6-8 months. To keep this closer to a 6 month process you will need to be decisive in selecting the builder you want and the lot you want. If you are thinking about building a custom home this can take a year or longer. Please keep in mind that searching for a lot, especially if you are purchasing a tear-down and in a competitive market, can add weeks to months to the process.
